Hello everyone!!
So, this has been in progress for a couple of weeks now, and I'm so glad that it's finally complete. The outside, that is - I haven't finished the inside, however I thought that would not be necessary for the contest.
This build was based off of The Twitcher, a character whom I am currently portraying in a musical that my musical theater teacher wrote. The character has a bit of a snake-bird aesthetic about her, so I went with that theme for the contest.
The snake idea sparked originally when I was scrolling through google, looking for ideas. I found an image (see below) of a cobra-shaped skyscraper. It didn't have the exact look I was going for, but it gave me the inspiration needed to create this.
I built the Twitching Tower out of concrete and glass. The smooth surface that Minecraft concrete has worked perfectly for it. However, one of the shades of grey was done with terracotta. Can you guess which one?
This was also built in 1.13 / 1.13.1, meaning that I started in 1.13, but when 1.13.1 came out I transferred to it.
