SHIP DETAILS

The USAF Daedalus was the first 304-class battlecruiser ever created by humans. Her primary purpose was to travel between Earth (in the Milky Way Galaxy) and Atlantis (in the Pegasus Galaxy), carrying new personnel and supplies with each trip. She also assisted the Atlantis Expedition Team in their war against the Wraith, most notably so in the Siege of Atlantis. 

Daedalus is 225 meters long, 95 meters wide, and 75 meters high. She is equipped with engines capable of travel up to 150,300,225 meters per second, and can make the trip from Earth to Atlantis in 18 days (at 1.93 light years per second) or 3 days (at 8.68 light years per second) with the assistance of a ZPM. Her armament consists of 32 railguns, several Mk. VIII and IX tactical warheads, and multiple Asgard beam weapons. She also carries two bays of F-302 fighter-interceptors.

PROJECT DETAILS

This project started back in mid-November 2013 when I converted a 3D model to a schematic, and got the hull. It has continued since then, starting with cleaning and detailing of the outer hull, then completion of the ten decks on the inside. I have decided to upload this here for anybody who wishes to use it or mess around on it. As stated above, Daedalus has ten full decks inside the ship. However, they are not decorated, and I do not plan to do that. This is because I am primarily building the ship in a server that runs on a custom modpack, so much of the interior is going to be made out of those blocks which are not available in Vanilla. The actual structure of the interior is there, however, so anybody who wants to try their hand at it is welcome to do so.
