The Assumption church is a church located below the Kremlin hill in Suzdal, Russia. It was built in 17th century and replaced a earlier, wooden church (which is shown here) which burnt down in 1650. Afterwards the newly built stone church also burnt down in 1719 and was shortly after rebuilt in its current appearance.
Not much information is avaiable about the wooden church, when it was built, or how it looked like. But it was likely a typical wooden structure of the 15th century like the rest of the town, (and other towns and cities in russia) mostly was at that time.

Unfortunately there is no information about its former appearance avaiable, aside of that it was made out of wood. The build is based around the shape of the current church, but in style of russian vernacular architecture.
