This is one of the first buildings I ever designed when I started on Minecraft, back in early Beta. It was inspired by a local holiday village of Swedish log cabins, and I thought the deep forests of Minecraftia could use a little shelter.

This build may make an appearance on The Tainted Lands.

Exterior
The cabin is surrounded by a forest and snow biome. It's stone roof keeps out the rain and snow, and it's fenced garden makes sure no nasty monsters get inside. It has log supports, and sturdy wooden walls.

Interior
The interior of the cabin is a nice, cosy little place. However, it lacks a fireplace, and players must make their own warmth in the form of Glowstone, or perhaps some rather-unwise Netherrack. It has two floors; the ground floor for leisure, and the upper floor is living space.
