Hello and welcome to GlacierPvP, my name is Cathal02 and throughout this post I will be telling you about our server. We have worked hard over the past few weeks to get this up and running for you guys, so sit back and enjoy the read.
Let's first start off with an introduction of our staff team. My name is Cathal02 and I am the so-called "Developer" and one of two owners of the server. I handle all website, plugin and server configuration work. If you ever have anything that you want added let me know
Alex is our second Owner and equally as important. He works on builds, themes, and the Economy of our server. He makes sure everything balances out and makes sense, if you have any ideas for the server just let him know!
The all important of why should I even bother joining this server? No we are not going to talk about our "Amazing Staff" or our "Amazing rewards" as everyone does this. Does anything really make us unique? Well yes, the time and dedication spent on our servers is unique, our interaction with players and the work we are putting is unique. Everything about us as people is unique.
We want to build an amazing community of players to interact and have fun with each other, not to make the next Mineplex or Hypixel, of course everyone wants this however our goal is to set up a friendly community. We are not in it for the money, we are in it for the players
I have briefly talked about our plugins above, I will go into more detail now. We have bought and configured multiple premium plugin to make your stay on our server and extensive and enjoyable one. I will list the most important onces below.
- Our fully customized GUIShop.
- Our custom leaderboard filled with stats.
- A TokenEnchant plugin to enable a second economy
- A well thought out and extensive Crates plugin
- A plugin which enables you to gain money from EXP
- A plugin which enables putting EXP into bottles for safe keeping
- A JellyLegs plugin to enable/disable fall damage
- A /ping command to let you check your connection to our server
- A /trade which enables safe trading and much, much more.
This plugin is something we are very proud of. We all hate running around big, unorganised shops trying to find the one item we want to buy or sell, this Shop makes that easy. With out intuitive design you can see at a glance what category you need to look in and where you need to go. We have worked hard on making sure that the prices balance out and that the Economy is fair to all players. This shop includes many features, including a sell all, multiple categories, flexibility with the amount you want to sell and buy. How to use: 
At GlacierPvP we like to offer a flexible economy, now what exactly does this mean? Essentially it means there are an abundance of ways to make money, we have implemented multiple plugins for making money easier
For example our EXP to money plugin, if you are a fan of mob grinders you could sell your EXP, however you could also sell the mob drops.
We have tried to focus on farms, so that would be the preferred method however as said above there are multiple ways.
I think that we can all agree that getting scammed sucks, that is why we have implemented an awesome trading plugin. What this plugin enables is the safe trading of money, items and anything else.
Before giving up your items you can see what the other party is offering, you can either choose to accept or deny the offer based on what
- One of our proudest plugins is our CustomEnchanments. This offers some pretty cool enchants to add. The plugin works off of a currency called "Tokens". With tokens you can buy enchants. You can obtain tokens from voting or exchanging exp. Enchants:
Haste: Improves Mining Speed Speed: Gives a permanent Nightvision: Gives a permnanet nightvision effect (See in the dark) Jump: Gives a greater jump boos Regeneration; Gives a permanent regeneration effectc These are just some of our custom enchants!

GlacierPvp is just that, a pvp/faction server, which is pretty evident from their name and description. You arrive at spawn and can use a few nice features there, but if you fear for your life (as you decide to leave), luckily... you can just use this command /rtp which basically tp you to a random location in the world. We were actually tp'd directly above a Stronghold... which was quite a coincidence.
The server concept is not that unique to be honest, but then again... it doesn't have to be. If you are looking for a new upcoming faction server, then this is definitely a good place to start. The world is new and therefore not ruined and at the moment, you could probably build a nice faction base without being bothered and raided by anyone else.
As far as the staff was concerned, we met the two owners right away, Alex and Cathal. Nice guys who were quick to help and get us set up with the right commands. They aren't just owners on the server though, but take part in the fun... with their own faction(s) and raids. While we were there, they also gave us a little drop party, which is not something I personally like... I am more of the survival type, but honestly, they were just being nice to the newcomers.
In total, I would recommend this place for anyone with a wish to play with factions and pvp, and if you get aboard early, you might even help shape the server. The guys seemed quick to listen to suggestions.

Thank you very much for the positive review. We have been currently open for 5 days, so you are right we are not that unique as of yet. However as we continue to grow and expand that is something we will be sure to focus on.
