Hyperion Legends features a very special in-game, player-driven economy. This means that prices of items are determined by the player, and can fluctuate with supply and demand. Server administrators have no direct contact or influence over how item prices are set up. This leaves more flexibility for the economy, and can trigger in-game natural occurences such as depressions or over-supply.
The in-game currency for Hyperion Legends is Zarin. Zarin can be accumulated in various different ways, but the easiest is to vote our server up on the multiple server lists provided on our website! If you vote for four of them, your character will be provided with 200 Zarin. You are also given 200 Zarin when you do things such as sign up for our website, or recruit others to our server. Aside from these methods, Zarin can also be gathered by playing the different server minigames, or by renting an in-game shop from the Markets, and then selling your items to other players.

MARKETS:
Hyperion Legends has a vast Market system, where you can rent shops for varying amounts of Zarin (dependant on the size of the market), and then set up your very own player-run store! The markets can be reached from spawn using a teleportation gate. Once you're in the markets, you will see various plots laid out, with signs in front of them. Right clicking the sign will rent the sign for you, and withdraw a certain amount of Zarin from your money pouch. This amount is listed on the third line of the sign.
Once you've rented the plot, your character will be able to build inside the rented space, as well as set up a player-run shop. A comprehensive tutorial on how to do this is on display at the Market entrance. Rental shops are a great way to generate revenue, and just as setting up a shop is the best way to make Zarin, buying from a shop is the quickest way to gather resources. Always remember this if you're short on materials, and don't want to take the time to gather them yourself. The potential to make it in Hyperion Legends as a merchant is very prevalent, and should be taken advantage of.
Our markets also have Admin Shops, wherein certain game items that would otherwise either be unobtainable, or difficult to accumulate are on sale. These prices do not fluctuate.

Hero Bounty is a plugin that adds another layer of the Factions core mechanic. With Hero Bounty players can place a bounty on another player's head for a certain amount of Zarin. Ever been killed by another player, wanted to get them back, but didn't want to do it yourself? Let your money do the work for you! Bountys are posted anonymously, and rewards are instant once the deed has been complete. Being a bounty hunter is another great way to earn some extra Zarin in your pocket!
Hero Bounty has many features, including:
- Anonymously issue hits against your enemies!
- Successful bountied targets drop player skinned skull!
- Earn in-game money for completing hits!
HeroBounty commands:
/bounty help - Brings up a comprehensive HeroBounty command list
/bounty list [page #] - Brings up a list of available bounties to accept
/bounty view - View all bounties you've accepted
/bounty accept - Accepts a bounty
/bounty abandon - Abandons your current target
/bounty place - Places a bounty on another player's
head for a certain amount of Zarin.
The Zarin you offer is automatically
taken out of your money pouch, as well
as a 50 Zarin fee for placing the
bounty publicly.
/bounty cancel - Cancels a bounty you've placed on someone
else. All money spent on placing that bounty
will be refunded, except for the 50 Zarin fee.
/bounty locate [target] - Shows a list of your targets, and their last
known locations in coordinates. These
locations are approximate, and allow a 100
block deviation.
Upon completing a bounty, you'll be given the reward money associated with the kill, and the server will be publicly announced of your success. The target will recieve a monetary penalty as well, which will be 5% of the award value. For example, if you kill someone with a bounty of 200 Zarin on their head, they will lose 20 Zarin from their money pouch upon their death.

Potato Bombs is a special plugin we've added that allows you to craft and place potato "traps", that, when triggered, will apply potion effects to everyone in the immediate area. Think of them as splash potions that can be placed and triggered by player movement.
Potato bombs can be crafted by placing a poisonus potato, a piece of gunpowder, and a dye on the crafting grid in any configuration. The type of dye used customises the potion effect applied to the bomb.

Cocoa Beans - Hunger
Lapis Lazuli - Slow Digging
Purple Dye - Slowness
Cyan Dye - Poison
Orange Dye - Confusion
Potato bombs also adds a crafting recipe for the poisonus potato. They can be made by placing a potato in the middle of a crafting grid, and surrounding it on all sides, as well as the corners, in fermented spider eyes.

Our server has many different custom arenas built into it. Each one was hand crafted by the Hyperion Legends staff, and they are one of a kind. Wether you wish to play a friendly game of paintball, or go head-to-head in a one-on-one skirmish with another player, where the concequence is everything on your body, Hyperion Legends has something to offer everyone! These arenas can be accessed from Spawn.
Paintball Arena:

BattleGround Arena:
This arena was designed to allow four different players to join in, and engage in a free-for-all, where the player who achieves the highest number of kills in a three minute period wins! Everyone who participated will recieve five Zarin as a counsolation prize, and the winner will recieve 50 Zarin, as well as potion buffs for two minutes. (These include protection and swiftness). Players coming into this arena do not lose any items, and have the ability to choose one of four classes while waiting for a match to begin: Assassin, Gladiator, Huntsman, or Seer
Skirmish Arena:
The Skirmish Arena is an arena where you and one other player can engage in combat, where the penalty for loss comes at a high price. Death in this arena will litter your items on the ground for your opponent to pick up. Anything and everything is allowed in this arena, from enchanted armor and weapons to potato bombs, splash potions, and the like. Use anything and everything you can think of to eliminate your foe! Matches have no time limit, and will not end until one of the two players dies. There is no Zarin penalty or reward for participating in a Skirmish.

Our server is set up to reward the player for promoting and engaging in forwarding our community, and getting our name out there. We are a new server with bold ambitions, and the more you promote us, the more we will give you for your efforts. Players have the ability to vote up to four times a day, and doing so will reward them with 200 Zarin. That's 50 Zarin per vote!
To vote, you must go to our website, and then make an account. Once you've made an account (which also rewards you with Zarin, by the way...), you can navigate to our "Vote" tab. Once inside, to the right of the screen are four websites, with "vote" buttons to the right of them. Each of these will take you to the apropriate location to complete voting. Please note that you will not recieve your 200 Zarin unless you vote on all four pages.
Voting also rewards you with in-game items! If you vote on all four links, you'll recieve two diamonds, aside from your Zarin. You will also be presented with a free rank upgrade, should you be one of the top three voters at the end of the month!

One of the biggest annoyances of Factions servers is how dirty and cluttered they get after many days of play. Silly non-structured builds can be found all over, and can start to make the map look broken. To counteract this, our staff personally sweeps the map daily to locate, and disassemble any irrelevant builds. We also keep tabs on abandoned builds, and have a system for alerting the owner of these builds before we destroy them.
Our staff will locate your build, and region a small area on the top of it. This region will remove your ability to break blocks in its area, and inside of it we will place an Ender Crystal. In order for you to prevent us from deleting your build, you must alert a GameMaster, and ask them to delete the EnderCrystal. At the end of the week (every Sunday), any builds with EnderCrystals on them will be disassembled by staff, and the terrain will be rebuilt.
Please take note that we will not place EnderCrystals on any builds that are continually inhabited. This is only done to builds we feel are no longer used by players. We will also not do this on any property claimed actively by a faction.

Making an account with our website has many benefits. For starters, your Minecraft account will recieve 200 Zarin for joining with us. On top of that, you will have access to different things such as our dynamic map, the ability to vote daily for more in-game Zarin, and our Rank Shop, as well as a dynamic map of the entire server!
Having access to our website also gives you access to our community forums. Within these forums you will find great staff support as well as friends to band together with. We respond to bug reports and complaints on our website forums first, before we check any other websites such as PMC or MineCraft forum, so if you're a fan of fast, reliable service, we highly suggest signing up, and posting any questions, comments or concerns there. You'll also be able to see our staff posts on the website, which will give you information as to the server's status, what we have planned for the future, and wether or not we're looking for new staff members, as well as how to apply!

Donators are a very important piece to our community. Our server is completely run on donations, and all money recieved from these is poured back into the server, to facilitate more updates, and continual hosting. Of course, we would never accept donations without rewarding those who wish to give their hard earned money to us.
By signing up with our website, you'll have access to the Rank Shop, which will allow you to purchase any of our donation packages, if you wish to do so. Along with a custom in-game tag, being a donator also gives you various perks.
Firstly, any and all donators will have access to the VIP area. This is a special area of the map that contains extra perks for the player. This will be elaborated on below. Donators will also get access to certain commands and abilities based on what they purchase. You will also get a certain amount of in-game Zarin, and also various in-game items.

Supporter Valley, our VIP area, is a well-constructed location with many bonuses inside of it. It is designed to give our donators a quiet place to go, that is also littered with useful locales to help you build your faction's power.
:::THE NETHER STAR AWNING::
Supporter Valley has within it a smithy which sells custom loot. This loot is the strongest you'll find on our server, and as such it is very expensive, and considered end game. In order to buy it, you have to trade with the villagers inside the smithy. They require ender stars in order to give you the items. An easy way to get nether stars is to buy them from the VIP area. This is the only way to get Nether Stars on our server.
:::BLACKFEATHER'S SMITHY:::
Blackfeather's Smithy is a building in the VIP area filled with villagers eager to trade you the strongest armor on our server, the Hyperion Armor Set, in exchange for vast amounts of Nether stars. Using your Zarin, you can buy these stars from the Nether Star Awning. Accumulate them as you can, and try your best to collect the entire set!

A quaint little shop in supporter valley that will sell bottles o' enchanting to the player for a VERY cheap price.
:::VIP Shops:::
Much like the Admin shops in the Marketplace, the VIP shops sell items to players that would normally be hard to come by, or impossible to come by on the server. At the VIP shops you can get these items even cheaper than in the Markets, and you also have access to some special items not offered to players at the Admin shops!
:::THE EGGCITING EMPORIUM:::
A shop that will sell mob spawner eggs to the player for varied prices depending on the mob.
:::THE CREATIVE TEMPLE:::
Do you love building? The creative temple is for you! Inside of this temple is a portal that will teleport you to our flatroom world. Inside of it, an area of 16 chunks by 16 chunks is automatically laid out for you, regioned and protected, where you will be able to build. In this world you are also granted completely unrestricted creative mode. Feel free to let your imagination run wild!

HorsePlugin is a perk for our donators that allow you to buy, store, and use horses in a virtual stable. It also locks the horses to their owners, making them invulnerable, and so that only the owner may ride it.
