Hi guys! I am Matt, the owner of OG, and I am here to

give you guys a brief explanation of what our server is about..

I know this is probably cheesy, and many servers/server owners say this, but OG is truly about the players. When you log in, you will see all the staff hard at work helping all the players who have questions, simple or hard. You will see the owner (me) hard at work building, adding new cool features to the server, or also helping players. And you will see players pvping, yelling at each other (in a competitive way), and people throwing items at each other (normally dirt).


Plugins include things such as:
  • Matt Crypto- a crypto currency plugin
  • Jetpacks - Jetpacks fly endlessly :D
  • Factions - (we all know what this)
  • 1v1s - A custom plugin that allows multiple 1v1's to happen in the same arena, and allow for spectators to see all fights.
  • And various other showy and/or functional plugins!

Additional Notes

Our goal as Island is to provide a nice PVP community like no other. I notice most servers I go on, people bitch wildly and owners abuse. I am not here to abuse, players are not here to bitch.

Hey, my IGN is Runnygnome and I just joined the server today. I couldn't figure out where to appeal this, so I hope here works. Anyway, I spoke with the owner a bit and he and everyone on the server seemed like pretty nice people, and so, satisfied I'd finally found a decent server to play on, I ran off into the wilderness with a bit of help from the owner, Matt. The entire time I was being followed by a user with the Steve skin and no armor who I had decided not to kill. I didn't get a hundred blocks before I was banned with the message "Banned: Blacklisted" with no further explenation. I honestly have no idea what I possibly could've done wrong and I would really like either a reason for this happening or an unban. Thanks, hope this is seen - Runnygnome (As already stated)

EDIT: Two days, no reply and no way to officially appeal. What is this? I've read around and evidently this is a big issue, lots of people being banned for opionated or just completely bogus reasons. Please reply.

This server could be better if there weren't 100+ spawn campers outside. I tried starting on here and was just killed by jerks. A good way to welcome players to the server is by killing them... Horrid spawn camping prevents any people from starting a new MC life.

Great server, LOVE the spawn its very visibly appealing and great for pvp and I love how theres no towers or pvp traps around spawn just straight up normal wilderness pvp. Keep up the great work ;) and thanks to ALL the staff that help me out and the server!

yep so i got banned for no reason! i politely alerted the owner that a guy named "AmazinDeeDuser" might ddos him cos he banned him. the only reason i said that was because of the name "AmazinDeeDuser"! not because i have any association to him!!
