THE LIGHTING UPDATE
- Torches now burn out after
- Jack'O Laterns now burn out after
- Lava now turns into stone if left above
Explanation: Lava is molten rock, placing it closer to the surface or on the surface itself allows it to cool down and turn into stone, because there wont be enough heat on higher levels to keep the liquid state of the lava.
- Furnaces, flint and steel and torches No longer work below
Explanation: Oxygen is considerably lesser underground. If you've seen mining quarries and mining caves in real world, you'll notice they have vents and huge machinery to keep the oxygen flowing to the depths of the mine. Lower oxygen levels mean no torches, no working furnaces and no fire from flint and steel. (You can still use Jack'o Laterns because I'm not that harsh)
