We would like to introduce you guys to Quintvar, a community server.


The server is focused and geared towards creating a challenging yet unique survival experience, we have changed how Mining, Combat, Hunger, Monster AI, World generation and Player attributes work and made them to fit the harsh yet rewarding world of Quintvar.




Server features:

• • World generation is slightly altered.
    
  • Mining system is altered to be progressively rewarding.
    
  • New items and crafting/smelting recipes are added. (Crafting recipes and smelting recipes are added on website!)
    
  • Improved monsters
    • Monsters now each their own unique attack modifiers.
      
    • Monsters now know when to fall back, or attack.
      
    • Monsters will tame/ride horses if possible.
      
    • All monsters have been buffed or nerfed.
      
    
    

• • Reworked hunger system
    • Hunger now decreases more depending on what you do.
      • Combat decreases 12% more hunger
        
      • Running decreases 15% more hunger
        
      • Walking decreases 2% less hunger
        
      • Building decreases 2% less hunger
        
      
      
    
    

• • • Hunger is now deadlier but a lot more rewarding.
      
    • Hp heals up faster everytime you ingest food.
      

• • Dynmap enabled
    
  • Griefprevention
    • You can claim land by placing a chest or by rightclicking a cuboid selection with a golden shovel
      
    • You can claim more land as you play more or the server or when you vote for the server
      
    
    

• Community-driven economy (Trade with people for Notch's sake!)

• Griefing is not allowed.
  
• Unfair client-mods are not allowed.
  
• Verbal abuse is not tolerated at all!
  
• PVP is allowed, but with reason, and prior notice. (Surprise assassination isn't allowed, everyone deserves a fighting chance.)
  
• Immaturity & whining, is not tolerated.
  

Server events:

Ender dragon battle - Fridays (Every other week)

Wither boss battle - Indefinite (Every time someone is able to sacrifice 20 diamonds for it.)


Red moon - Wednesdays (Alone? You better not be, this is the perfect time to team up with someone!)

server is in development, suggest what stuff should be added and what
should be changed to make the server more fun and enjoyable for
everyone! :)
