Pwned Galaxy is a server that has a little bit of everything for everyone. Our main world features standard SMP gameplay with an economy and minigames added to keep users entertained and to help facilitate trade between players and the server shop. PvP is allowed in the main world, but discouraged unless in a designated PvP zone, both players agree, or a player is griefing or stealing from you. Compete with other plays to make the best creations, become the richest, defeat the most mobs or players in the arena, or anything else you desire.
At Pwned Galaxy, you can rest assured that your house is safe from griefing (outside of hardcore, of course). We have an advanced ticket system that allows users to report problems they encounter and griefing. You can lock your chests to keep them safe, and if your house is damaged, our staff can reverse the damage and punish the rule breaker.
Our server started as a small server for our community of 20 or so players, but now that we've made it public, new users are joining everyday. Join right away and start working your way to the top!
The rules are simple:
1. Obey staff. Their orders supercede all rules.
2. No unauthorized client modifications.
3. Avoid excessive language. Keep chat PG-13.
4. Respect others and avoid hate speech.
5. No spamming, hacking, or otherwise harming the server.
If you are in the hardcore world, then only the first five rules apply. If you choose to go to the main world or any other, then these two rules also apply:
6. No griefing, stealing, or otherwise damaging property.
7. No PvP unless both players agree, or out of self-defense.

We have completed the transition to our new server hardware. The server is now running on much more powerful equipment and is utilizing a connection with much more bandwidth, so it should now be virtually lag-free for all users across the world. Thanks to the several donations we received lately, we were able to purchase a very powerful hosting plan. As such, the number of server slots has more than doubled. If you haven't played on this server yet, or if you have tried it before and found it to be too laggy, then come back and try us out sometime. We're the same wonderful Pwned Galaxy community on a brand new server, and we'd love to have you join us.

We have recently added two new mob arenas. For those that have not yet played on our arenas, try out the easy arena, Amarena, to get a feel for how the mob arena works, and to get yourself some starting supplies. Afterwards, check out the cool new medium difficulty arena, the Shivarena, which is water and ice themed and has nature-related rewards, as well as diamond items at higher levels. Masters of the mob arena might want to try the upper waves of the hard arena Lavarena, where you have to be very careful not to burn to a crisp or succumb to an explosion if you want a chance at diamond items or Lavarena-exclusives, such as webs to decorate your home or wear on your head.
To see a list of all the arenas, use the command /arenas
To instantly teleport to any arena, use the command /<arena name>, i.e. /amarena, /shivarena, or /lavarena.

We have updated the server to Minecraft 1.3.1. You will need Minecraft 1.3 or later to play. Come join us on Pwned Galaxy, one of the first public Minecraft 1.3.1 servers with bukkit and many plugins!

Our server will have some brief downtime tomorrow while we install the 8GB of RAM that was just purchased for the server. During this time, our server address will redirect to a temporary server as always. Thanks to the server donators that made this possible!

First, I'd like to apologize for our server not showing up on Planet Minecraft, in case that inconvenienced any users for whatever reason. I'm still working on putting everything back after our server was incorrectly and accidentally removed.
Also, for those of you that were following before, our Global Exchang server shop is now complete enough to be tested. Even enchantments should be tradeable at the shop. Go upstairs to actually see the items you're purchasing and operating in a fully commandless shop, or use commands from any floor to quickly complete your transactions.
