This is a fictional race I invented a while ago, below is some lore I made for the roleplay server that I am part of.

History: Demyans are a crossbreed between fox and rabbit (as strange as it sounds, it’s true) and were chased from their home by the Humans. They adapted to walking on two feet to fit the need of constantly checking for predators and scouting, as they were always on the run from the Humans who wanted to take their territory away for their own purposes. As a result, their species ended up within the humid jungle regions of Arkenlos, where they still reside today. They generally live to about the age of 112, yet there are a few cases in which a Demyan has lived far longer.

Appearance: Very small in size, with dwarves being the closest creatures in height to them. Demyans are completely covered in either tan, blonde, hazel, brown, and rarely, white fur. They have long rabbit-like ears that appear floppy and limp when hanging behind them, but they can easily utilize them as if they were fully functional arms and hands whenever needed. Their tails are typically lighter in color than the rest of their fur coat. Their height varies from slightly taller than 3 feet to even around 2’6”.
