Hundreds of years ago, in the time of the great Egyptian pharaohs, the high priests practiced a form of magic known as invocation.  This involved controlling a person or object by naming them.  After the discovery of this magic, little by little, the priests began to gain power over the empire.  Nearly all priests were corrupted by their practice of invocation, and so were feared by all.  However, there was one priest, called Imhotep, who saw the danger of the overwhelming power of invocation.  He knew that there was only one way to change the minds of the priests: a message from Set, God of the desert.  But how could he reach him?  It was impossible.  Then Imhotep realized he didn't have to -- he just had to make it look like he had.
        Imhotep journeyed beyond the walls of the city, into the great desert.  He was searching for a cactus, something he knew would convince the priests to terminate anything involved with invocation.  Unfortunately, to eradicate the dark magic from this world, Imhotep would have to use it himself.
        Finally he found it: the perfect cactus.  It was taller than those surrounding him, and almost looked humanoid the way its "arms" seemed to be supported.  Imhotep decorated the cactus in ceremonial jewelry to make it more god-like in appearance.  Now all that was left was to find its true name.
        Imhotep meditated around the cactus for hours until finally it came to him.
        "Ankhotep.  Your name is Ankhotep."
