The following is an excerpt from Lucys journal right after ash collapsed o I watched as Ash collapsed, Jac, Mr.Ivory and I were all unable to do anything as we watched. I then realized it wasn't the black robes, whatever was happening was something with Ash, I watched as he abruptly stood up, but something was different, I couldn't quite place it then it came to me. He seemed empty, completely devoid of life. As I watched his eyes rolled up into his head exposing the whites, once his irises disappeared and his eyes had turned white a shudder ran through his body and a small purple glow appeared in the corners of his eyes. It grew until both of his eyes were entirely converted to a violet glow. What was strange was they didn't seem to have any depth, they just were. As I stared they slightly spun around like small solar systems, the next thing I noticed was his mouth, he had the scariest grin I had ever seen, if a stranger saw him he would immediately be flagged as a insane psychopath. I hadno t realized how pointy his teeth were and not just his incisors and canine, but all of teeth were sharp, no they were like razors. Not to mention the spit drooling from his canines didn't help to disperse the aura of craziness that he was wrapped in, then he started to laugh it wasn't a happy laugh, or a funny laugh, it was a terrifying laugh one that felt like it froze me down to my very soul with terror. I saw the black robes quaking as they inched back, my line of site was rooted back to Ash as he placed one of his hands against a nearby tree as we watched a gray ring appears around his hand, and gray wisps started to swirl around his arm as this happens the tree withered and was reduced to ash and dust, as its life-essence was absorbed into Asho s body a black aura appears around him as he, with a roar lunged forward, as he did so his hands disintegrated into smoke which then solidified into claw like hands that seemed to suck the warmth out of the atmosphere. he ran toward the woman who abruptly grabbed Trinity, yelled something indistinguishable and vanished into wisps of smoke. As soon as she was gone the black robes whom i took to be her minions started backing away, as if trying to escape but Ash seemed to have other plans. It was almost like he felt cheated and he was going to take it out on these poor souls, as he lunged towards the nearest one he tried to set up a protective wall of ice to stop him, but to no avail Ash smashed through it like it was nothing grabbing the man's head crushing it easily as we watched horrified, he ripped off the crushed head with its hood and mask and threw it at another one of the black robes as it flew through the air it seemed to have the same aura Ash did, an aura of death. the masked and hooded head crashed into a black robe killing him instantly, by this time the others were starting to panic, as they began to run Ash slammed a fist into his open claw-like hand slowly pulling them apart as he did so a pitch black rod appeared to solidify and come out of his hand itself with a yell he slashed the now stafflike rod through the air and as he did bits of what appeared to be shadow flew off it and longer bits streamed behind he then slammed the butt into the earth and we saw it was not a staff, but a scythe a terrifying instrument of death if i had ever seen one and Ash was still grinning. Only one of the black robes still was here and he seemed rooted to the spot as Ash turned around and fixed his terrifying gaze upon him he muttered something and flame blossomed around him. This seemed to surprize Ash as apparently he didn't expect anyone to actually fight him, the o fighto was very anticlimactic. The man shot fire at Ash but he just seemed to absorb it. he then swung the scythe around brutally impaling the fire breather on its blade. The scythe dispersed into smoke and Ash took a few steps before falling over just before the enchantment holding us dissolved.o
