"Beast Boy" were humanoid mobs. They were originally in-game as a test during theIndev phase.
Beast Boy was made by "Dock", Minecraft's past artist, along with the similar looking mobs Rana, Steve and Black Steve. All four of them were scrapped when Dock left the development team. ~Stolen from the MC WIki
