"Toa Gali - as strong and fierce as the rushing tides.

While Toa Onua's wisdom was unparalleled among the Toa Mata, it was Gali's that kept the six heroes bonded tight. I suppose one could call her an "emotional core" of sorts: patient and compassionate with her fellow man, yet with the capacity to be stern and strict when the time came for it. Gali had a particular connection to her people, the Ga-Matoran, and often times served as a mentor and teacher to them whenever she wasn't sifting through the Ga-Wahi waters.

I respect her strength. I don't respect her insistence on latching onto her fellow Toa. There is strength in Unity, of course, but even a hero has trials they must face alone. I wish I could do something to help her understand... but I am but a storyteller. I only share stories, not write them!

..You know, my friend, I have peered into many an universe before, but one particularly specified Toa Gali's voice was "as deep as the oceans." [laughs] I thought that a curious factoid worthy of sharing."

This is my own interpretation of Toa Gali's Mata appearance. Of course, she does not look like this originally, though I gave her my own personal flair. Perhaps I will design something that appears much closer to her original appearance soon, if I have not already.
