Honestly, I really don't like it when people use that KnobleKnives technique for the skin color. But of course, if you like this, keep it.

I agree with you. A PMC member said my colors were shit, so he asked me if I could try out Knoble's color tutorial. I did and i'm not very pleased with the way the skin color comes out. So I will be trying to make my own type of colors.

It really depends on how you use the technique Knoble does. I have been trying out his technique, and creating similar colours to him... It seems to be working out fine. This isn't one of the best skins I have seen from you, so keep up the work ;)

It's hard for me to reply, because I want to be mean, but at the same time I want to give a reasonable reply. So I'll give you both.

Mean reply: I don't want to get famous for copying Knoble's style and colors (like someone here in the comments, hint hint.) I want to have my own style (which I kinda have) and my own colors which I was told were shit).

Reasonable reply:Thanks for your advice and all, but I believe the only one able to correctly replicate Knoble is you. And you do a great job, but I know you can do a better job yourself. Also I know this isn't my best skin, it wasn't meant to be either.

I am glad you gave reasonable replies, and completely agree to some extent. I am not trying to copy KnobleKnives' style, but simply trying to create my own via his. I am currently making my own colours, and am experimenting to veer towards my 'own style'.

I hope you can keep trying at the shading techniques, and in doing so, do well.
