Dr.Albert Cid was a scientist at the New York Institute of technology. He specialized in genetic compounds and gene splicing. He was working on a serum that would multiply stem cells twice as

fast and give himself super human regenitive abillities. He spent day and night working on this serum. he wouldn't leave the lab for weeks at a time. Three Months later he finished the serum, he should have scanned it over and over to make sure it was safe but in his excitement he swallowed the serum.

He then grabbed the closest tool. He grabbed an exacto knife and he slit his arm from the wrist up to his elbow. It had worked his flesh was healing itself in seconds. But Something had gone wrong, the compound in the serum had weakend his OWN genetic compound and has caused his body to expell an acid like gel form. this acidic material covered his entire body burning every piece of flesh it covered.

The serum only worked fast enough to keep a somewhat humanoid shape. Realizing that he still had a conciousness he decided to use his new powers to get all the power in the world, as a Super Villain going by the name of Dr.Acid.

He managed to put on his indestructible power glove and boots to be able to pick up stuff and walk around while he spreads fear across the nation.
