I didn't really shade this at all, but give me some CONSRUCTIVE criticism anyway.

Endrad came from a family that lived off what little carrots and wheat they farmed. He left the farm at 14, an early age, to find a new life for himself.

Instead of finding a place to live or work, Endrad stumbled upon something terrible. It was a portal. He opened it using the one reminder of his family he had left- an Ender Eye. Dragons of all kinds flew out, chains clinking around their necks and legs.

Then, a dragon larger than the rest stepped out. He had fire in his eyes and no chains binding him to anyone. He had put the chains on the other dragons, enchanted chains that looked as if the dragon had broken free of a prison and flew off with the remnants, but that really were the ones binding them to him, doing evil deeds.

The dragon promised Endrad glory, fame, and power, and to 'help' (spare) anyone he wished if he would fight off those who challenged him.

Endrad was killed fighting against the villagers of a city, now destroyed. The dragon was outraged that Endrad wasn't strong enough, and killed Endrad's family, who had just found luck and become rich.

The dragon flew to the haven, where he was slain by the worlds savior. His body vanished, along with Endrad's. Every human still alive (a very small number) became a dragon, as humans, such as Endrad, are too dangerous, even to themselves.
