Now, instead of a fairy godmother you have a fairy godfather in Cenny! Alidoro (his name means "golden wings") is the prince's tutor/a philosopher who makes this magical element more human. At first he disguises as a beggar to investigate potential brides and is touched by Cenerentola's kindness, promising her to help her get to the ball himself after she's left out by her wicked stepfam.
