This is Pram, from the book A Curious Tale of the In-Between.
This is also my entry for Prince Oceanus's fantasy character contest.
Pram is a young girl who has the ability to see and talk to the ghosts around her. The book takes place in the 1940s (I think; it isn't revealed in the book). Pram was orphaned for her mother died giving birth to her, so she lives in a two-hundred year old home with her aunts. Pram's best friend has always been a ghost, and his name is Felix. The genre is fantasy, but the book has a mix of other genres, too, with some mystery to it.
