Prior to Five Nights at Freddy's 2, In Five Nights at Freddy's, He didn't really have a solid name.. The only thing referencing the entity in the game itself was what you mentioned: A file name simply called "Yellow Bear". Everyone just started calling it Golden Freddy though. That started out as a fan name... However:

It seems that Scott must have took note of it, as that is the name used in it's FNAF2's custom night icon, as well as for it's mode. So it seems Golden Freddy is it's official name now :P. I love when developers do little nods to fan names like that personally...
