One night, Steve decided that he needed to go get grocerys. His potato farm was incapacitated when a creeper snuck up on him AND his wheat farm was trampled on when the sheep got out; what would he ever do? The sun just went down so he was very reluctant to go outside, but his hunger bar argued otherwise.

Steve waited for day until but his hunger bar finally dropped down to half. Two bars from being unable to sprint. Seeing this, and that he would want to get there as fast as possible, he decided that he needed to go. NOW. He looked out the door to check and make sure that there were no baddies, and luckily there were none.

Over the creek and through the forest, to the market he went. Hmm, carrots? sure! Ooh what is this, some new plant that was added in 1.7? "Eggplant you say? Silly, eggs come from chickens not plants! Well, OK, I guess I'll try some. He REALLY wanted that cake in that display, but he was on a diet so he asked for a watermelon instead. He was about to get out his iron, pay, and leave but something caught his eye. Ma'am, may I look at that blue apple-like thing right there? Yes, that one. Is this one of those new items that Mojang keeps adding more and more of? In that case I will take one. Steve placed all of his produce in his brown, paper sack and payed. By that time it was already day out, so he walked home with food and now he didn't have to worry about zombies or any other bad things associated with the night. He arrived at about noon, set down the bag and ran into his bedroom to craft him some new boots. The bag was shaking a little bit. "Oops forgot one iron, gotta get another from my chest". The bag shook even more. "Might as well make another diamond shovel". The eggplants, carrots and watermelon all rolled out to make arms, legs and a head. "Wolfie, is that you?". Steve made a huge mistake and walked in to his living room unarmed and unprepared. The monster came out from behind the couch and did two hearts of damage in one hit. He punched back, and thankfully, a single, blue apple flew out of the bag. The whole monster fell apart and was nothing more than a pile of edibles and a paper bag on the floor. Remembering back to school, he realized that the blue apple was actually a lapis apple, the most important step in golem making. He swiftly took the blue apple and chucked it into the blazing lava pits of nether.

Everytime he goes mining for quartz he swears he hears a faint scream.
