This is an irotomesode kimono (very formal kimono) I made for December. The color combination should be nice for winter (https://aminoapps.com/c/japan/page/blog/kimono-colors/MXsk_u4L2g88Np8w1jMeNqbjpDr1g). The pattern on the kimono features hime-sama in juunihitoe (court lady in Heian period finery) and hiogi (ceremonial fan). Court ladies are often pictured seated whilst the hems of the juunihitoe spread like a river around them. Irotomesode have no motif on the sleeves or the upper body in general.

The fukuro obi is wrapped in a nijuudaiko musubi. The obi features very stylized karabana (imaginary chinese flower) in silver and champagne pink.

The hair is done in the traditional shimada hairstyle. I took a cold theme to the kanzashi (hair decorations) and they are mostly done in silver.

The collar is folded with the left side overlapping the right (as it should), an additional date eri is added to bring out the collar area and the back of the collar is pulled down to reveal the nape of the neck. I've also made a faint line under the obi to indicate an ohashori fold. She is wearing white tabi (socks) and light gold embroidered zouri.

Kimonos are a hobby of mine and I hope I've gotten most of the details right! ^___^
