So, PMC finally had a skin contest that I was interested in! I'm totally not going to win but maybe if I'm lucky I'll get finalist... XD

Design Info
When I first heard about this contest, I knew right away I wanted to do something evil mage-y. But I had a lot of different ideas about how to make it. At first I kind of tried to put them all into one. That didn't work. Eventually I came up with this design, which I liked enough to keep. Partway through making it I thought, "Hey, this kinda looks like it could be part of my Shadow Warriors Skin Series!" So I decided to make my contest entry skin also the next skin in the Shadow Warriors series. To tell the truth, a lot of my Shadow Warriors skins have become more popular overall than some of my other skins... I guess it's just a style people like. So while this isn't quite like my usual Shadow Warriors skins, I felt it fit too well to be left out. So here we have it: Daeris, The Shadow Queen, #5 in the Shadow Warriors Series!
Boring technical details about making this skin:
I did several things differently from my normal style with this skin. The most obvious is the face. I decided this way of doing it looked better with this particular skin. I also made some subtle changes in my usual shading style, especially in the cape. I spent AGES getting her magic-hand-thing to come out right, I'd never done something like that before so the shading was a little fiddly. But in the end I think this came out looking pretty awesome!
