Joan Jett as she appears in the music video for Everyday People from her album titled Album released in 1983. Instead of making another Joan Jett skin with all black, as she is pictured on the cover art of Album, I wanted to make her wearing her blue jean jacket, jeans, neckerchief, and her iconic red canvas shoes that she briefly wears in Everyday People.
Everyday People is a cover of a song by the band Sly and the Family Stone originally released in 1969. Joan Jett & The Blackhearts do an amazing cover of the song with their video showing Joan getting caught in annoying mishaps throughout the day, like her alarm clock that drops and shatters into pieces, a malfunctioning hair dryer, a broken-down car, and more.
Check out my other Joan Jett skins:
Joan Jett 1981 - I Love Rock 'n' Roll
Joan Jett 1983 - Album
Joan Jett 1983 - Everyday People (Album)
Joan Jett 1988 - I Hate Myself for Loving You (Up Your Alley)
Is Joan Jett the Queen of Rock 'n' Roll? I discussed my thoughts in my blog post here.
Everyday People music video.
Cover art of Album released in 1983 with Joan wearing her iconic red canvas shoes and considered armed and dangerous with a loaded Gibson Melody Maker six-string.
