and here is elio in his fall-themed outfit. (though the seasonal themes did fall apart at this point.)
this is basically what he’s currently wearing now in the specter vales.
the climate and temperature of the specter vales is still quite cold, but definitely nowhere near as freezing as the middlegrounds. it essentially just feels like fall, I suppose.
the specter vales is unique in that it is the only real rift to not have a day/night cycle, so it is dark and cold 24/7. the rift is also inhabited by ghosts, which makes the never-ending ghostly forest more unsettling and creepy, especially to lost travelers who find themselves here. (cough cough whoever I threw there, like aj, jasper, and I forgot who else.)
