Chaos throughout the realms... For Millenia, the war with the Water Elementals had raged, niether side gaining any ground. But recently, The Water Elementals, a dark and deceitful order of aqua snakes have been rallying together and pushing forward, razing the levels of the Ocean water, and colonizing the sky for their own territory. The Fire Elementals, an elite group of flying fire birds needed a new solution to fight against the rising tide.


That solution came in the form of a sacrifice. As only a baby, A young Fire Bird named Spark witnessed his own father killed in a midnight raid by the water snakes. From then on, Spark swore to do whatever was necessary to avenge his father, and so he chose to be the sacrifice for the new offensive against the Snakes: He would sacrifice himself in order to create the ultimate Fire Being. Through the extremely painful process, Spark the Phoenix would die and be reborn just as he would be if he had died. But This time, he was changed: The heart and soul of every living Phoenix, and the powerful and violent power of the Sun were infused into his very being and he was reborn, not as spark, but as Maelstrom the Fire King.
