Inspired by the Metal Bugs from the Jak and Daxter video game franchise, more specifically from the game Daxter. They are an invasive alien race used in a plan to conquer Haven City, the most populous metropolis in the game's world.



They come in many insectoid forms, but most of them share some traits: dark organic skin, a metallic exoskeleton, and glowing yellow "skull gems" which presumably act as their hearts.
