This is suposed to be the father of Minamoto no Yoritomo.
Minamoto no Yoshitomo
He lived from 1123-1160, so he died before his son founded the Kamakura Shogunate of Japan.
Yoshitomo was the head of the Minamiti clan, and a general of the late Heian period.
Also he got great political power in Kyoto after he defeated his father with the Hõgen rebellion.
Heis 3'd son was Minamoto no Yoritomo, who was the founder of the Kamakura Shogunate of Japan. And therefore became the first shogun.
I guess it was in the blood to be a leader of some kind...
