This is a Minecraft Skin I made for for Mitama Magahara, from the Touhou Project Fangame Touhou Doumeijuu ~ Mystical Power Plant.

She is the final boss, and she is based on a person called Sugawara no Michizane, who was a high-ranking scholar, politician and poet, while also knowing archery. After his political enemy, Fujiwara no Tokihira, conspired against Michizane, he was demoted and sent to Dazaifu, where he would later die.

After his death, there were various disasters, which killed several of the Fujiwara Clan's members. This was said to be caused by his vengeful spirit. Afraid of his powers, the Fujiwara Clan had no choice but to pacify him by wiping all of his charges from his records and deifing him as Tenjin, a god of scholarship.

Great Vengeful Spirit of Heian - Mitama Magahara
Species: Divine Spirit
Ability: Reading Poetry, Calling forth death
Age: 1167 (She was born on August 1, 845)
Backstory: Most of her backstory listed is the same as above. Mitama was invited by Kanako to help in her Energy Revolution plan. However, after she was re-united with An Yaezaki (Mitama's Plum Tree), she wanted to return to Dazaifu, starting the events of Mystical Power Plant.

Because she couldn't use magic to move the tree (despite being able to use the power of thunder), she resorted to using the Warp Drive Theory, which would require massive ammounts of energy. This thunder power, however, combined with Tenmu's Wind Energy, would actually be able to generate energy for the tree to perform this warp drive, causing it to shine.


There is little detail as I wanted it to be accurate to her art in the game. Here is her in-game art, for reference.


Also, due to her many layered parts, I wouldn't recommend using her in any version of Minecraft that doesn't support 64x64 textures. Also, it may look bad (unless it's not), but I'm proud of this skin (and I was ambitious here, what with there being quite a lot of layering). Expect a lot more from me, with skins from Kemono Friends, Len'en, more Mystical Power Plant characters, and skins based on other Touhou fangames and Fan Characters (and maybe even official characters for when a new game comes out, so maybe check here when Touhou 17's demo is released).
