It had been years since the reptilian warrior, Sirill’ym, had seen daylight. Banished to the undergrowth by his evil, corrupted king; sworn to die of hunger, thirst, or whatever kills you in the depths of this torturous darkness.

Luckily for Sirill’ym, it never happened.

Using the millions of rocks scattered about the caves, and wood found from the various adventurers who had failed their journey, he managed to craft a pickaxe. An extremely helpful tool in this circumstance.
It would be correct to say, this pickaxe formed the life he has now. Sirill’ym was able to mine, to create new tools and weapons, to set traps to destroy the monsters that lurked around in the shadows. He flattened out a large area, in order to build up a small settlement for himself, including a house, a farm and an armoury.

Everything was going so well; his traps worked so efficiently, that he hadn’t seen a monster in what seemed like weeks.

And then, he found something that changed his perspective on life forever.

For Sirill’ym, with his yellow eyes that made it easy to see in the dark, the crystal was very conspicuous. The moment he touched it, he felt the anger that had been lumping up inside of him for ages. The king had banished him down here, to kill him. The king suspected he was already dead. Was he really going to let the king sit around and be lazy all the time? No.
Sirill’ym had made a decision.

He was going to kill the king.
