This is a houmongi kimono (formal visiting kimono) I made for December. Apparently violet and dark blue are good for that season in Japan (
https://www.nihongomaster.com/blog/learn-traditional-japanese-colors/). The kimono motif features snowflakes (yukiwa) and piles of snow and there are even snowflakes on the obi. The obi (belt) is wrapped in otaiko musubi. If the obi was wrapped in some fancier knot the kimono could also be perceived as a youthful furisode kimono. The fluffy feather shawl is added to match the season.

The hair is put up in the traditional shimada hairstyle and she is wearing geta (sandals) and tabi (socks).

Kimonos are a hobby of mine and I try to make all the little details match the traditions. Houmongi kimono most often have the pattern only on the hem and the sleeve but the pattern can spread to a larger area as well. The piles of snow however are deliberately only on the hem and the sleeves accordingly, and the piles of snow reach higher on the front as opposed to the back.
