Before the super-powered heroics of his adulthood young Miguel O'Hara son of Conchata and George O'Hara was recruited at an early age by Alchemax-the central corporate power of 2099- and sent to the Achemax school for gifted youngsters, which groomed best and the brightest for a career with Alchemax. He had an incident at the genetics lab and he acquired superpowers. He took the name spiderman inspired on the old hero, peter parker. Their powers are similar. Spiderman 2099 first appearance was in the comic spiderman 2099 1# (1992)
