Hey guys, this is my second skin for the series Sprucin' Things Up. The adventurer isn't the second skin I made so this skin really isn't in order, but I felt like remaking it and that's what counts, Right? ;0 Tell me what you think about the skin! -{ASkinForYou}-

Thank you SnewDerp! I have heard of color palettes before but I never knew what they were. I will definitely look it up! My question is, can I do it on gimp?

I looked at some tutorials lastnight and today. It is possible on gimp; so yay! It is a bit of a different process from MCskinedit and MinersNeedCoolShoes, but it still gives the same effect. The first one may be a bit rough, but I know I will get better ;].

I'm not sure if I've told you this before, but you should try MCSkin3D, it's a program designed to specifically make minecraft skins.  You can also create your own texturized mobs in this program `u`

Most skinners on PMC use this program to make skins ~

Ya, I've been thinking about trying it out. I love gimp though.

You seemed to be getting a hang of shading, maybe now you should start thinking about color palettes ~
Hue shifting really keeps colors from fading away on skins, and it  keeps it bright and lovely `u`

If you haven't heard about it before, go to the blogging section of PMC and search up "Hue Shifting" many great experienced skinners write about this for this is a key point not only in skinning but in any shape or form of visual arts ^.^
