The fact of the matter is, Steve may not have wanted to kill that chicken, but he had to stain his hands because you told him to. Maybe he didn't want to sprint and bunny hop accross the world to find a horse to bring into dungeons and probably get killed by Skeletons, but it doesn't matter because he does what you tell him to do, you horrible person you. Steve may have wanted to have himself a peacful life as a vegetarian with a small log cabin, but you wanted to slay the pigs and cows and venture into the deepest caves to make yourself an obsidian hunk of purple to live in. I'm sure that Steve would have liked to stay on good terms with the villagers, but you caged them up making their only purpose in life to trade you goods, and if it were something that you didn't need?
