Today, I have received a new volunteer I am very interested in. Patient appears to be diagnosed with Heart Disease. I have one serum yet to be tested, Serum #8. I have high-hopes for this serum. I have tested this medicine on rats in lesser quantities, and it appears to be working like a charm. I will quintuple the rat's dose for this man. I still find it strange he has heart disease... He's a 7 foot tall man, burly... Incredibly fit.. This is quite interesting, yes indeed. I will inject the serum tonight and write back tomorrow.

I have successfully injected the serum into the patient. He responded better than expected. He's a man of no words. I haven't heard him utter a single word since he's arrived. I have moved him to the viewing room. The viewing room is reinforced with steel, and a blast door. I'm not worried I'll have to use it, but I need to be safe in case of malfunction. Patient appears to be sleeping abnormal lengths. He's been sleeping for about 14 hours now. I will wake him up and write back tomorrow.

Strange, strange indeed. I have just checked on the patient, it seems as if he's developed a strange growth on his back... an artery, or something. Abnormal... It appears to be glowing, in a sense, pumping, beating.. Something is being pumped. I will have to take a sample. I need to extract whatever is flowing through. I will test on it. It could be hereditary, or a side effect. I will write back tomorrow with my results.

Fear.. has anyone really experienced what it is like to have fear? I haven't, until last night. I went to extract the unknown material from his growth; however, right before I injected the needle, he slapped it out of my hand, stood up and roared in my face. No, no.. This was no "humane" roar... This was similar to what you hear in the movies, the games all those kids are playing today.. It was, "dead, monster sounding almost.." I immediately ran for the door, he followed slowly. I shut it and sealed it. He walked up to the viewing window, and stared all night, watching me work. All he did was stare.. there was nothing else. His eyes were void.. I became scared, it was something I hadn't experienced. I pulled the blinds down covering the window, and slept. I have awoken at 3 am to write this log. I will be following up later.

I have been awoken around 6am to these wretched noises. This man is tearing himself apart. He's doing brutal things to himself. He's going insane to say the least. I don't want to go into detail, because this is just gruesome. I need to leave, I am collecting all of my data as I write, I am leaving this station. I can't keep going on with this man. If he manages to escape I will be dead. I can tell he's angry, there's no getting him out of this disposition. I have called for helicopter evac from some other scientists. The facility is completely locked down, and I've managed to escape with only a fractured ankle, and some flesh wounds. I don't know if this mountain facility can hold him back, but one can hope. What he did to the others, I am unsure. All I know is I need to get out of here, and go for good. What I have seen, has left a mental scar in my brain. I just hope to God those barriers hold.

Weeks later a special forces team received intelligence about this facility. They breached the facility. They had the order to kill whatever they saw. But, there was one issue
