Back Story

Born into this world as a peasant. Maria was a poor housekeeper with her mother. When they were working Maria's mom had a heart attack and died the next day. The people Maria was working for decided that Maria was useless and they through out and onto the street. Maria had no where to go so she went to the beach to let out some steam.

While Maria was walking along the beach shore a strange creature came up and pulled her in. Maria was pulled all the way to the ocean floor. She passed out and didnt wake up until the next year, but when she did wake up she realised that her clothes was all shrivled so she made a new dress out of coral. She also noticed that she had blue hair for some reason. But the most important part was that she can breithe undrer water along with the weird creatures that look like the one that pulled her under.

Now Maria lives the rest of her life under water living among creatures who take humans who are poor and unwanted and they turn thier life around. Maria will never return to the shore though because it is forbidden. She will never return and she will never forget her mother.
