This is a skin entry for the Underground Creatures Skin Contest.

This was made in the program Paint after developing the idea with online tools. I made the arms and legs symmetrical, both inwardly and outwardly, to have a better overall look.

The rock giant is a fearesome beast that lies in the walls, floors, and ceilings of cave systems. They can stand up to 10 feet tall. These monsters hunger for any flesh, so whatever comes to them is theirs for the taking. The rock giants especially crave human flesh. They are also greedy for gems, but they know where to find them and how to use them to their advantage. Rock giants will look for valuable gems and ores, such as diamonds, emeralds, gold, etc. and will form themselves into the walls and become dormant. When they go into this stage, they appear to be just a part of the wall; therefore, most ignore them. However, if anything, especially a human, comes into the giant's cave and he hears them, there will be at least one death, depending on who the giant may fight. The giants listen for the sound of footsteps, but they mostly listen for the sound of a pickaxe mining out the ore/mineral they are guarding. If this sound reaches their ears, they emerge from the walls and go balistic, devouring everything in their path. And if someone hits them with a pickaxe and doesn't realize it's a giant, they can say goodbye to their head, because it will go flying.
