Was feeling nostalgic after logging into PMC to update my mod. It's been a long time, so I thought I'd put this up. I made this version some time this last year, probably during summer. I don't think I even used a skinning software and kinda just made it in Aseprite since it's what I've been using for all my mod texture stuff. Had some fun with the palette, mostly just eyeballed it. Decided against asymmetry with the hair color and instead went for cutting the crown in half, and really liked how it looked.



Thinking back on my older Wild iterations I was always going back and forth between wanting my style to be more complex in it's shading and more simplistic. I think this one really hit a sweet spot and I probably won't change it any time soon. I think making mod textures that fit into the game did a long way to making my pixel art skills better, so I hope you guys like this one too.



I probably won't get back into skinning, but I'm no longer burnt out (It took a long time) so I don't have a reason not to. But between managing a mod with 2 million downloads (I thought that'd never happen), college, and wanting to start a personal project that isn't Minecraft related, it probably won't happen.
