This is my contest entry for Eden and Kevun's Contest.
The theme was your favourite season or holiday, and I chose the Winter Solstice. I remember first hearing about this holiday back when I was in my 9th grade maths class. The idea of people celebrating the longest night of the year was inspiring to me. My wild imagination drifted to the creatures that came out during the solstice, like long-rested spring spirits that were just beginning to wake. The frost beasts had begun their journey back into their realm, and with them went the cold of winter.
Anyway. This is a spring/frost creature. It's intended to be a combination of the two seasons that come into contact during the Winter Solstice. I was mostly trying to experiment with a new type of skin. Girl skins were getting boring.
