3D Ores for Faithful resource pack. Just because Minecraft ores look kind of flat.
This pack is an adaptation of my 3D ore vanilla texture pack (here https://www.planetminecraft.com/texture-pack/3d-ores-models-for-vanilla-textures/) but for Faithful textures.
New Overworld and Nether ore models aim to enhance your mining experience.
Each block within this pack was designed individually with the aim to keep the new 1.17 ore texture variations while also introducing a subtle 3D aspect to each. This new 3D models add a couple additional pixels above the original vanilla ores and is designed to work in 1.17 and above.
Good news! This pack does NOT require Optifine or Fabric! But you may use them if you wish :)
This pack does not provide the Faithful textures, you will still need it loaded for this resource pack to work.

Does this work with shaders?
Yes. I've added sample images for how they look in Complementary and BSL.

Does this lag my world out?
I've not noticed any difference in performance in my testing. These models though are significantly more detailed than the originals.

Where is Compliance version?
This pack used to support both Faithful and Compliance. I've become aware of the nether quartz ore texture differences and so the Compliance pack will be split out into its own pack.

v1.3: adds 4 missing nether quartz ore models. It was missed that Faithful provides 5 blockstates for the nether quartz ore.

I've noticed mc lighting can cause some lag, you may try this to help Starlight (Fabric) - Modrinth
No, really something is broken and removes 100 fps from my total amount of fps
Optifine HD 1.17.1 U G9 pre 34 no shaders most setting on low and off
For some reason some reason, minecraft is using all of the allocated ram and almost crashes no matter how much ram I give it
