hey! do you think you could make a pack where both normal Axolotls and Caimans spawn? I tried myself.. But.. Lets just say it didn't work very well lol

you need optifine for that

keep the axolotl's textures in the same place
texture/entity/axolotl

but the caiman's texture in
optifine\random\entity\axolotl
and name them with numbers like (axolotl_lucy2, axolotl_lucy3, axolotl_lucy4)

This sounds about right hehe, very smart! You could also change it so by naming specific axolotls like "caiman" or "axolotl" you can get their skins to change manually. I don't know how to do that but maybe someone else can help you more with that if you want to do it haha.
