To those whom have enjoyed the original version of this pack, I apologize for not updating the texture pack to Minecraft V1.4 sooner. To those of you brand new to this pack I will give you an overview of exactly what it is. This Texture Pack began way back when Forge was having compatibility issues across versions of Optifine, that means using mods like Millenaire with HD Textures was at one point an incompatibility issue. For me it was frustrating not to be able to use said Mod along side a good RPG style texture pack. Around the same time a friend of mine also had similar trouble using HD RPG texture packs containing elements she enjoyed because her computer continued to have performance issues with anything over 16x16. So finally I decided I would put my VGD College training to work and develop a 16x16 pack of my own covering a high variety of content, and re-sculpting the textures to appear as a late 80s early 90s style medieval RPG game. I eventually went as far as adding Magma and Water specifically for those using HD texture Optimization. Due to the 1.4 Minecraft patch, the texture pack was rendered no longer compatible with the engine. So I went back in and updated the texture pack, and added a boatload of new modifications many of which are unique to the 1.4 update. Due to the theme of changes dominating this new release of my texture pack, I have deemed it the "Fairy Tale" expansion. Download the pack, spend some time in the tundra, and you'll see why. Almost every aspect of visual art is covered in this texture pack including SEAMLESS textured blocks, unique GUI menus, unique items, themed mobs, BETTER TESTIFICATES, environmental effects, unique sun and night cycles, and a story based replacement for the pumpkin dubbed "The Lantern of Truth".
