It all started when I realized that Forge was incompatible with Optifine, and thus I could not play millenaire mod with HD textures. So seeking out RPG texture maps I tried several, but to no avail as the weapons and armor left me unsatisfied, or the testificates were still squidwards. I couldn't stand it, so it was time to break out the VGD university experience and I changed all of the testificates myself. Next thing you know and I got carried away just retexturing everything. Went for a whole 90s snes rpg look. This texture pack covers NPCs, new character oriented testificates, blocks including seamless mineral textures and more, a fresh arsenal, and a band new gui. Try the buckets, you'll feel more like a wizard. Splash potions now look like spells. I even took anything default that was left untouched and added an overlay of texturing to them anyway. In the end I tossed Forge to the wind and got optifine, so youll find new seamless water and lava textures if you use optifine, I highly suggest patching for HD even if it is a 16x16 pack. UPDATE VERSION 2: Changed pumpkin to be a lantern of truth that allows you to magically spot mines and see through roofs for swifty assassination strategies. It also allows you to summon templars, and house nature fairies for self protection. I also added more shading to the items for depth.
