Now with a purple coal addon+!
Only works with Optifine and Video Settings > Quality > Emissive Textures turned on.
Move ZIP file into your Resource Packs folder.
These textures are meant to be used with either of these two packs:
Developer Art+
Programmer Art Ultimate
Known Bugs: Some blocks tend to glitch and become gray depending on your mipmap settings.
If you're having these issues try tweaking these options until it's good, sadly not much else I can do about it.
Removed the coal ore from the main pack and made it an addon due to bugs with emissive textures and black pallettes,
so now it's apart and optional.
