Distant Past is a 32x semi realistic pack that i decided to make for shits and giggles and turned out better than i expected it to. It wasnt my intention to release this resource pack to PMC, but i liked it and wanted to share it.
All of my work is 100% pixel art entirely made by me.
Enjoy!

Make sure you turn OFF "Alternate Blocks"!!! If you dont know what this does, it rotates blocks like sand, stone and grass, so with this resource pack, it looks really stupid! And make sure the graphics settings are set on FANCY!!! If your computerDistant Past [32x] 1.9 Minecraft Texture Pack can not handle Minecraft on fancy, get a job.

The reason for the PMC logo is casue i have found my Resource packs on other websites, and theyre outdated, soif someone downloadingDistant Past [32x] 1.9 Minecraft Texture Pack it wants a newer version, they know where to find it

Looks nice, but I think you should edit the furnace shown on the photos a little because the contrast between the black of the inner furnace and the stones around it is a little big, baybe gray? or blur the outline a litle?

Looks quite nice. I have some complaints though. Some blocks edges are too soft (like the stone). I'm also not a big fan of the jungle planks (I don't like the wavy lines) I feel that the logs could have more contrast and the highlights could be lighter. Your cobble stone (I think it is) has a tiling error where there is a vertical line formed because of a light shaded brick. You could fix this by adding some CTM.  That's all I have to say, it's a bit of an essay, but I hope it helps :)

"soft edges" like the stone" what do you mean like in between the stones? cause ive done that for ages and i kinda like it, but ill see what i can do
the jungle planks were something i wanted to try out, something differnt (obviously didnt work)
ill see what i can do with the contrast, but the highlights are ment to be a suttle difference, but ill see what it looks like
and i dont know what CTM is. if it is what i think, then i have no idea how to do it

CTM stands for Connected Texture Mod, which is a thing with MCPatcher which allows random variants and special connect textures, like my sandstone pillars I made. It really helps to add some variation. Sorry, my wording was a bit off. What I meant was that I think it would be nice for you to make the dark spots between the stones, darker. It would just make the block pop more and will make a bigger impact. :)
