This resource pack changes the bees in Minecraft to more closely resemble real bumblebees, with a new custom-made model and new animations too!
The most common bee you'll find is based on the Yellow-Banded Bumblebee!
A rarer variant you can find in your world with this resource pack, the Blue Bumblebee, is based on the Blue Carpenter bee.
Blue Bumblebees have a 1 in 500 chance of spawning in all biomes, except Flower Forests, in which the chance increases to 50/50.

There is an issue with regular bees occasionally magically transforming into blue bees. This is not intended, but to my knowledge cannot be fixed either. My apologies.
How to increase the rate of blue bee spawns yourself
You can increase the rate of Blue Bumblebee spawns by going into
Mink's Bumblebees 1.17.1 v1.0 > assets > optifine > random > entity > bee > bee.properties
and increasing the number listed in "weights.2" from 1 to whatever number you'd like. It is listed as a ratio, so 500 is how common regular bees are, and 1 is how common blue bees are.
If you want the blue bees to have a 50/50 chance of spawning in all biomes, make the two numbers equal..
