In the blog post i am going to be talking to you about the new 1.2, 1.2.3 update which has
Just taken place, and you can post your thoughts about it and what i have to say about it.
My most Favorite thing in this update is the jungles, because it provides and brand new terrain which is camouflage and an amazing spot to build the best tree houses :D.
Ocelots and cats, I enjoy these although i have never managed to catch them because i can't find them anywhere but i did end up spawning some ocelots and i loved them so much :D.

Ocelots:

Ocelots are passive mobs that normally spawn in Jungle Biomes. They are the second tameable mob to be introduced into Minecraft, the first being Wolves. Ocelots were first introduced in the 12w04a snapshot. Their official release was on March 1st, when Minecraft 1.2 was released.
When untamed, these felines have yellow fur with black and brown spots, a grey-black nose, and green eyes. Once tamed, their skin will change to either tabby (most common), tuxedo, or siamese. In every case, their tails are in two segments to show curve.
To tame an Ocelot, the player must be holding Raw Fish while standing perfectly still and not looking around too quickly. It will slowly approach the player, and while in this state, using Raw Fish on it will tame it. In some cases you will need more Raw Fish. This will change it to one of the three tame 'cat' types. This will also end its shy behavior. It will now follow the player, although not as strictly as wolves. Note that the player can only tame Ocelots when they walk to the player on their own. Chasing an Ocelot while right-clicking constantly will have no effect.

Iron Golems:

Iron Golems will automatically spawn in NPC Villages naturally, provided there are 15 Villagers. It does not have to be a naturally generated village; as long as there are 15 Villagers and a house, an Iron Golem will spawn.

The golems cannot be crafted but the player may create them using blocks in a similar fashion to Snow Golems. To do so, the player must place 4 blocks of iron in a T-shape on the ground (or in the air), and then place a pumpkin or a Jack-O-Lantern on top. This is equivalent to 36 Iron Ingots, making creation somewhat of a task. They will always spawn facing south.

These mobs also drop Iron ingots (3-5) and Roses (0-3).

New blocks:

The new Tree is the first thing i would like to mention about these new blocks are found in the jungle biome, but you can also get the saplings to plant them where ever you wish, these trees can grow near each other as you see 4 long and wide blocked trees in the jungle biome.

Redstone Lamp, with the redstone lamp it has the same effect as glowstone but requires a switch to activated it, it will bright up a large area and can be very useful.

The last thing is that you can now build your skycrapers above the clouds now because they have increased the height limit from 256 instead of 128 which is double the height! Which is awesome :D.

If you would like to say anything please comment it is much appreciated.

Rate comment and Favorite, thanks!
