Creation Bay.

This beautiful server is nearing its 5th month of being active and open to the public, but today is celebrates something else. It was on this day that I, Projectblackwolf placed the first block, a block that unbeknownst to be was going to become something much bigger.

In our downtime and in between year 12 projects my friend Toxicfellow and I would casually work away on our own private hamachi server, not trying to be the best builders in the Minecraft world, but to be the best we could be. Only trying to outdo each other and all our prior builds, set new personal best and make things we were proud of, regardless of what others thought.

Eventually Creation Bay grew beyond the boundaries of a private server, and today it is the host of not only some of the most awe-inspiring builds possible, but one of the strongest and most functioning communities I have ever known to exist in gaming.

A community that cares for each other, a community where people help where ever possible and are genuine. Opening the Creation Bay server has been one of the most worthwhile decisions I have made, I have made friends, I have allowed people to explore their creativity without hastle and I have had a blast while it has all unfolded. And while the server may not yet be 12 months old, the world file and the single block that began it all is, and if it was not for this anniversary, this server that I love so much might not even exist.

I would like to extend a particular thanks to r3v3r53d (Rev), Sydshawfo, Beatlesgirl and Airman506 for their work on making this awesome birthday cake, and for just generally being supportive since the day they all arrived.

Thanks to everyone else, the efforts and work you have gone to have helped make Creation Bay what it is today, and I wouldn't change it for the World! <3
