Well, hello there Daffodils (That's what I'm calling my subscribers now, yes). Welcome to another blog! This time it's going to be about recruiting people for servers/partnership. You have to make sure the person/people you choose are good! Follow these steps to make sure of that!
Recruiting for Server Players:
Step 1: Get them to put their IGN in the application so you can see if they've ever been banned.
Step 2: Ask around to see if they are legit. The last thing you want is for a hacker to have access to your server.
Step 3: If they pass these two steps, let them in the server and test them. Make sure they cannot grief or anything and tell them to enjoy their time on the server. If they try something like /stop then immediately ban them, as they are just trying to be annoying.
Recruiting for a Youtube Channel:
Step 1: In the application form, make sure they show some of their work. Check if they have a good microphone, frames, editing skills, upload frequently and everything like that.
Step 2: Step 1 is really the only important step, but there are some more minor steps to make sure they are really legit.
Recruiting for a Build Team:
Step 1: Check their PMC profile to see if they actually have projects. Most of the time if they don't, they usually aren't legit. If they don't have any projects, ask them to send screenshots of their work. If they have projects, but they barely put any work into their builds, don't move onto the next step.
Step 2: Make sure they don't plagiarise by searching up what their builds look like. If you can't find anything, they're clean.
Step 3: If they complete these two steps, let them be a temporary builder on the build team. This tests if they are active enough to be a permanent builder.
Recruiting for a Texture Pack Team:
Step 1: Check their PMC profile to see if they actually have made any texture packs. Most of the time if they don't, they usually aren't legit. If they don't have any texture packs, ask them to send screenshots of their work. If they have texture packs, but they barely put any work into them, don't move onto the next step. If you are looking for a specific part of the texture pack to make, get them to submit that specific art.
Step 2: Make sure they don't plagiarise by searching up what their texture packs look like. If you can't find anything, they're clean.
Step 3: If they complete these two steps, let them be a temporary texturer on the team. This tests if they are active enough to be a permanent texturer. These steps are basically the same as for a build team, but are slightly different.
Recruiting for Mod Makers:
Step 1: Check their PMC profile to see if they actually have made any mods. Most of the time if they don't, they usually aren't legit. If they don't have any mods, ask them to send a small amount of their coding. If they have mods, but they barely put any work into them, don't move onto the next step. If you are looking for a specific part of the mod to make, get them to submit that specific code.
Step 2: Make sure they don't plagiarise by searching up what their mods are about. If you can't find anything, they're clean.
Step 3: If they complete these two steps, let them be a temporary modder on the modding team. This tests if they are active enough to be a permanent modder. These steps are basically the same as for a build team, but are slightly different.
